Nick Russo: Industry Leaders Trust Marist Students
“At my internship with the Miami Dolphins, I worked on and presented a three-year, multistage plan based on bringing e-sports—an untapped demographic—to the stadium. It was very nerve-wracking for me and the other interns to present our ideas directly to the stadium executives. But it was a great experience.”

“My professors are so caring, and they want to see students succeed. They also have industry experience, which is so helpful because they often share personal stories from their own careers that I can then take and apply to mine. They’re really inspirational.”

Where Theory Meets Practice
The Marist educational experience creates a unique balance of theory and application. By incorporating coursework with hands-on experience in the field of marketing, students are well-prepared for entry-level positions in the industry. For example, students in Management Strategy, the Business capstone course, present their final reports directly to executives for the companies they’ve researched and reported on. And students in Marketing Strategy integrate their classwork with data analytics and financial analysis and spend their time making strategic decisions, analyzing their performance, and modifying their strategy.
Talk to Experts in the Field on the annual NYC Career Trek.
This annual Career Trek trip to New York City connects students with employers, such as Citibank, UBS, Bloomberg, and JPMorgan Chase, and provides a direct link between current students and alumni working in the field.
